Please join us in New York City for a food tour in support of Dissent.

On Saturday, October 18, Dissent editors, staff, and donors will enjoy New York City’s “only Marxist food and history tour,” eating our way through the Lower East Side—the neighborhood that inspired Dissent co-founder Irving Howe to write World of Our Fathers.

Led by investigative reporter, French-trained chef, and Dissent contributor Arun Gupta, we will feast on dumplings, rice rolls, babka, pizza, tamales, and more, while we explore the histories of the immigrants, agitators, artists, and innovators who have made the neighborhood famous.

This is a fundraiser for Dissent. It is an exclusive chance to spend the day with the Dissent team and to help ensure that the magazine thrives for a long time to come.

There are limited spots available, so reserve yours today. Fill in the box below to purchase a ticket. Tickets are $250, and all food is included—it will be copious. Come ravenous!
