We
mourn the death of Ellen Willis, radical feminist, critical writer, and Dissent board member, who died this morning (November 9) from lung cancer. We were fortunate to have published several of her essays over the last decade and a half, and always looked forward to her insights. Her passing is an enormous loss to her family and to the left, which needs the kind of clear thinking she brought to bear, whether in cultural criticism or political analysis. We post here her Dissent pieces that are available electronically. They are a reminder of what we will miss.
